I took the day off to do some organizing around the house before I have
surgery on my shoulder next month (no lifting for about three months at
least). I also needed to sort out one of the storage sheds where boxes got
dumped when I first moved and haven't been looked at since.
Emptied the shed, put some ugly, but serviceable cabinets in and started
going through boxes. I finally found the one that had all my sewing gadgets!
It really was like Christmas to me as I found my skinny loop turner, my
brown point turner and my collar turner that looks like tongs. I also found
my Mundial pinking shears that I thought had gotten lost in the move. Also
no longer MIA-all the bobbins that fit my Grandma's old machine, lots of
buttons, zippers and other notions. Not to mention more STASH! All are now
in the house carefully put in my sewing nook.
My rolling cutting table was shoved in the shed, too, but I moved it to the
front so I can bring it in after some workspace shuffling. I want it in the
nook so that I can roll it out to the living room when I need it and then
roll it back. Knowing my luck, I will get everything the way I want it and
then get transferred and have to do it all again.
But for now, the shed looks good, things can be found and I have more of my
tools to play with (the most important thing!).

Re-finding stash is fun. Sometimes I find money, too. Never bills
though, dang it.
Sounds like good timing, Beth. That rollaround cart will come in handy
during your recuperation. Still going to come out and play with us
while you heal?

Of course! I can type with one hand :-) I plan to take at least a week off,
so I will be sitting in front of the sewing machine catching up and I will
check in to see what's up.
