The wee ones in the family are beginning to graduate to Big Girl Beds,
so I'm making the afghan/bedspreads that are traditionally awarded in
connection with this accomplishment.

Have to think back, we have made some progress but there is so much
more that needs doing, so likely around here we need to teach our

Maybe I'm starting to develop some version of a quilting studio!  My "living
room" is 30' by 50' because I designed the house to have a big open space
for music, art, books, entertaining, dining, etc. etc.  I have long had a
big, grubby table (slightly larger than a dining table) ...

Geo Bear landed in Kent at 11:30 this morning, safe and sound!
If I end up going to York to see the Gadget Queen, I'll take him with
me.  Otherwise I'll take him to Canterbury or Rochester, and send him on

I am plus size and lots of the lovely tights (panty hose) available ie
Pamela Mann are one size only and therefore won't fit.
Do you think it would be possible to cut off the body part of the tights and
sew the legs to some type of stretch lace and make them into stockings?

I finished the Scarlet Letter project, on my red velvet mat.
I managed to get the mat all sewn up and done as well.
Thanks to those of you that wrote in to suggest some threads.
