I made a couple of pillow ticks out of jeans legs that mysteriously appeared in my stash. (Neither of us wears jeans, and I've *never* cut a pants leg off and saved it.)
I put the contents of two old shredded-foam pillows into each tick to make nice firm pillows for reading in bed.
