| Mash Tun Question | 23 Jun 2008 18:51 GMT | 23 |
Today I brewed my first all grain batch. It's didn't go so hot. I kept getting a stuck sparge. I am using the stainless braid hooked to a 3/8 ball valve. What seemed to be the issue is that the stainless braid would both collapse near the connection and is seemed to float on the

I'm wondering if anybody has tried to emphasize vanilla flavors over others--including banana--in a Hefeweizen. Is there something one can do with yeast to manage to pull that out? I'm thinking yeast strains, fermentation temperatures, pitching quantities, stuff like that. I
