Since the weather is absolutely abominable I decided to do a little
snowy day browsing. I found this site and thought it would be a good

Well the wife's skirt is finished and didn't come out too bad. There
is one part that bugs me a bit though. There is a zipper in the middle
of the skirt (on the back) and at the end of the zipper the skirt
tends to "pop out" a bit.

Been away a while.  Have been trying to get my Singer 111W155 working.  The
thread gobs up on the underside of the fabric.  One local poster said she
had a chip out of her bobbin holder, and it caused gobbing.  I'm going to
take the bobbin holder out tomorrow and check it all ...

i'm looking for plus size patterns for 50's style dresses, and i'm havinhe
g no luck...does anyone know where i can find them? they don't have to be
patterns FROM the 50's, just in that style

i have 4 aprons and a friend saw me wearing one , thus she brought me
2 more ,,, my `older ` aprons used to be skirts , now the 2 new aprons
have a very pretty pattern , exactly a cushion size ,, so i made the
new aprons into 2 cushions ,,,

Ok, I am still working on the “new” sewing room and have a couple of
questions
Fabric will be stored on the shelves of various storage units (hopefully
neatly folded and organized)with curtains in front of each unit to both
