Serious press fit31 Jan 2010 19:57 GMT43
The boat tranny took a dump. Its a ZF-301C behind a Cummins 450 horse
diesel. Took a trip to the ZF repair shop yesterday. The front of this
tranny has the flywheel transfer plate just press fit on - no key way. To
remove the plate, they hooked it up to 50,000 psi oil pressure on ...
Rotometals31 Jan 2010 19:46 GMT48
One supplier that sells casting lead and alloys is Rotometals.  They are in California.
Anyone know a source in Michigan, Indiana or Ohio that sells the same?  I'm tired of
scrounging, I just buy clean alloy and recycle my bullet traps.

The Future of US Kids Making Stuff...31 Jan 2010 01:50 GMT131
I'm watching a dvd of "Front Runners" which is about the annual
student body elections at the super nerdy Bedford Stuyvesant High
School in New York City.  It's a public high school so perhaps it
represents the US population more so than a Phillips Academy.

Advice to democrats...keep blaming Bush30 Jan 2010 13:16 GMT9
Word from headquarters is that all democrats should keep blaming Bush and
Republicans for everything. It is important to just keep blaming him no
matter if it's his fault or not.
If it's cold outside, blame Bush.
