Of course I haven't promoted it here (except a posting that seemingly
never made it.)  Anyway I periodically give away some pottery tools and

This may seem a bit stupid, but I'm looking for a detailed description

It seems to be the first thing everyone learns, but we never did. We
always used prepared clay, but now we're in India and our stock has

What are the largest pots you've thrown?17 Dec 2004 02:10 GMT11
My largest pot was a bowl I threw about two weeks ago. I started off
with 25lbs of clay, centered it and in the end I had a bowl with a

leather-hard I ended up trimming 8.5lbs of clay from it, which made me

sandbags10 Dec 2004 06:39 GMT2
At an upcoming craft fair one of the vendor requirements are sandbags
for securing the tent.  I have never had to use sandbags before so I'm
looking for some advice as to where I can get some or how I can make
some.  I would appreciate any and all advice.
