Hey everyone :-)
I want to make myself a kiln god. From the very limited information my
searches came up with, I read that the Japanese believe you must sacrifice
something to the kiln god in each firing. My idea is then to purposely make

I attched an image of a bowl My wife and I just inherited form a family
member. I supposedly came into the family in the 1960's.
The bowl bears no markings of any kind. There is a good amount of wear
to the gold parts.

Well I unloaded the kiln and was amazed how many pots came out with such few
flaws.  One poor little pot was glazed and reglazed so many times that I was
never planning on firing it, just playing with techique.  It got stuck in
just on principle and came out one of the better ...

Just wanted to send you all summer greetings from Zurich. It is hot hot hot
here these days and my workshop is very tempting, but I have guests until
the middle of July, so that will have to wait.
My new kiln is a wonder with the new controller. I can now also set the
